Ahead of the general election in 2019, a House of Assembly Hopeful for Sapele Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Engineer Emmanuel Omuvie has urged the electorate to avail themselves of the opportunity to partake in the ongoing voters registration exercise.
The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain make this assertion recently in Sapele, Delta State, during an unscheduled visit to the management of the Delta State Vocational and Learning Center along Awolowo road.
Omuvie said that the voters card serve as a prerequisite for any electorate who wants to exercise his civic responsibility come 2019.
His words “I urge you all to get your voters card because that is your password for you to cast your vote for any candidate of your choice in choosing your leaders come 2019” he said.
The House of Assembly hopeful who expressed dissatisfaction at the level of underdevelopment at the skills acquisition center, promised to do the needful, noting that part of his campaign promises is to raise morally responsible youths via skills acquisition.
On his part, the administrator of the Delta State Vocational and Learning Center, Mr Godwin Erewa, thanked Engineer Omuvie for his visit and prayed for success in his political endeavour.
