Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari will be travelling to the United Kingdon for a 10-day working holiday.
The visit begins on Friday, August 3, 2018.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday in Abuja.
Adesina said the President has sent a letter to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, informing them of his vacation to London.
“In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, a letter has been transmitted to the President of the Senate, and the Speaker, House of Representatives to that effect.
Adesina stated that, “President Buhari will be in London for the holiday,” noting that while the President is away on vacation, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, will be in acting capacity as the President.
