N/Assembly crisis: APC Senators meet to sack Saraki

Senators of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, have held series of meeting to allegedly impeach the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

The meeting, reports say, took place at 13, Aso Drive, Asokoro, behind the Golf Course some meters away from the National Assembly.

Stern looking and gun wielding security operatives from the Department of State Services, DSS, were seen around the venue of the meeting.

It was gathered also, that the National Chairman of the ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole had incited lawmakers to sign the impeachment paper that would throw out Saraki from the Senate leadership.

However, Senators and members of the House of Representatives belonging to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were still gathered at the lobby of the National Assembly awaiting any consequence.
